They seem to remain as strictly a retail car care products. If you are a die-hard Turtle Wax car care products fan, then you needn't look any further. I have personally never used this Turtle Wax carnauba car wax product at a professional or personal level. I had to find out first hand just what this product has to offer us and see if there was much value to be had in this long established name of car waxes.

If you are looking for that "old school" feeling of waxing your car, then look no further. Complete with lots of rubbing, sore shoulder, and that sense of accomplishment, this Turtle Wax is the ultimate in "I want to spend all day waxing my car, and have a really sore shoulder the following day because I don't know any better" car wax!

Sorry Turtle wax...but it is what it is, and I found this product easy to put on, but incredibly hard to remove.

This product is packaged like a traditional paste wax, but it is rather soupy and should really be sold in a squeeze type dispenser; like a ketchup squeeze bottle. In fact, because of its consistency, it applies easier than the other true paste waxes but that is where the redeeming benefits end with this product.

Darren's Professional Tips

With today's endless choices of top rated car waxes it is easy to become overwhelmed. So many choices followed by endless opinions as to which wax is the "best" wax, or which wax is the best for black cars, etc., etc.

It is enough to make a seasoned detailing veteran like myself go numb in the brain! For this reason I have limited my choices to waxes that are considered top rated car waxes, and waxes that I have both used and tested first hand.

The simple answer is that everyone of these waxes will produce superior results for you. As far as which wax truly lasts the longest is a debate that will never be fully settled. The two main differences between these choices is about two things:

• User experience. (don't underestimate this part of the equation. If you have a "great" car wax but is so difficult to use, you will never be willing to use it a second time)
• Cost. (everyone has a certain "cost" tolerance. Whether you are on a very tight budget, or you simply believe that you get what you pay for; then you will find what you are looking for here)
  

In Conclusion...

Unless you are a die hard fan I would definitely opt for a different product than the Turtle Wax carnauba car wax formulations. I think I have been very direct and honest in this review. If you do take my advice and go with one of my other top rated car waxes, don't forget that a very critical step to superior end results is preparing the paint surface first by using detailing clay.
